Description

Hard-Shell Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber 2.0 ATA – Large Model

IRS-HBOT-02 – the larger and more spacious model. The chamber is intended for non-medical wellness-type oxygen therapy sessions in SPA facilities, hotel wellness areas, sports recovery zones, oxygen therapy studios and private settings.

The chamber supports controlled sessions in a pressurised environment up to 2.0 ATA. The user lies inside the chamber and breathes oxygen through a breathing interface, while the control system displays pressure, session time, pressure curve, temperature, humidity and oxygen concentration readings.

Non-medical intended use as a practical advantage: This equipment is not a medical device and is not intended for diagnosis, treatment, prevention, monitoring or rehabilitation of any disease, injury or medical condition. It is intended for wellness-type oxygen therapy sessions, relaxation, wellbeing support and recovery after physical or mental exertion.

This positioning can simplify integration into hotels, SPA facilities, wellness centres, sports recovery areas and private homes because the service is not presented as medical treatment. Medical staff or a healthcare-facility licence are generally not required solely because of this non-medical intended use, but local rules may differ. Pressure-equipment, occupational-safety, hygiene, electrical, fire-safety, consumer-information and premises requirements must always be followed.

Non-medical hyperbaric oxygen therapy for wellness use

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy, or HBOT, broadly describes an oxygen-breathing session in an increased-pressure environment. On this page the term is used in a non-medical wellness context for relaxation, wellbeing support and recovery after exertion.

It does not mean physician-prescribed treatment, clinical rehabilitation or treatment of disease. Medical use requires separately assessed medical-purpose equipment and the appropriate clinical protocols.

Possible wellness applications

  • SPA and hotel wellness areas
  • Oxygen therapy studios
  • Sports recovery spaces
  • Relaxation after intensive mental work
  • Private use in accordance with the manual

What is included in the system?

This is not only a capsule; it is an interconnected system consisting of three main devices and user accessories.

1. Hard-shell chamber

Hatch, viewing window, mattress, pillow, internal display, intercom, pressure gauge, safety devices and emergency pressure-release elements.

2. Oxygen generator / concentrator

Supplies air to the pressure system and oxygen to the breathing interface; the display shows the main session parameters.

3. Water-circulation cooling unit

Helps maintain a more comfortable temperature and connects through water inlet and outlet ports.

4. Accessories

Oxygen masks, breathing tubes, mattress, pillow, intercom and user manual. Final configuration is defined in the quotation.

Standard or large chamber – what is the difference?

The operating principle and main system configuration are similar. The models differ in body shape, external dimensions, lying-platform width and the location of some connections.

Feature Standard IRS-HBOT-01 Large IRS-HBOT-02
Chamber shape Oval Cylindrical / round
External dimensions 77 × 82 × 225 cm 77 × 90 × 230 cm
Lying platform 57 × 220 cm 74 × 225 cm
Lying space More compact Wider and more spacious

Hard-Shell Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber 2.0 ATA – Standard Model

How does a hard-shell chamber differ from a soft-sided mHBOT chamber?

A hard-shell chamber has a rigid structure and adjustable modes up to 2.0 ATA. Soft-sided mHBOT chambers are generally lighter and more compact, but their pressure and control capabilities depend on the specific model.

Hyperbaric chamber, HBOT and mHBOT – detailed guide

Controls and typical session flow

Before a session, the operator checks the chamber, generator, cooling unit, connections and power supply. Pressure is increased and reduced gradually, and the user must be briefed on ear-pressure equalisation and emergency actions.

  1. Check the complete system and the room.
  2. Remove prohibited items and brief the user.
  3. Close the hatch, select the mode and begin gradual pressurisation.
  4. Monitor the user and system parameters.
  5. Reduce pressure gradually to 0 at the end of the session.
  6. Open the hatch only after pressure is fully equalised.
  7. Clean the chamber and perform UV disinfection when required.

Safety and responsible use

The chamber must be used in accordance with the manual and, in commercial environments, under the supervision of a trained operator. Oxygen strongly supports combustion, so strict fire prevention is essential.

Do not bring into the chamber

  • lighters, matches or any ignition source
  • phones, smart watches or unnecessary electronics
  • oils, grease, flammable liquids or aerosols
  • oil-based creams or cosmetics that may create a risk near oxygen
  • synthetic clothing capable of accumulating static electricity

Health and safety restrictions

Users with health conditions, medication use, recent surgery or injury, pregnancy, or doubts about suitability should consult a healthcare professional before use. Stop the session if ear pain, breathlessness, chest pain, severe dizziness, nausea, panic or another unusual symptom occurs.
